A Philadelphia school teacher is facing charges for allegedly making terroristic threats against a police officer. John Sheerin was charged on Saturday for threats allegedly made during a protest over the Frank Rizzo Statue earlier this month. Facebook posts from two members of Black Lives Matter indicate that Sheerin was also at a Thursday night protest by the group outside the house of a police officer who shot and killed a man earlier this summer.
