Former York Mayor Charlie Robertson is dead. Robertson passed away yesterday at the age of 83. He was the mayor of York from 1993 to 2001, when he was charged with murder in connection to the 1969 race riots in the city. He was later acquitted. A graveside service for Robertson is scheduled for 1:00 Tuesday afternoon at Mount Rose Cemetery.
