Gettysburg National Military Park is not planning on removing its Confederate memorials. A spokeswoman said yesterday that the memorials are important to the cultural landscape. She also claims the park has not had any recent complaints about the memorials, even on the heels of violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
