Senator Bob Casey says President Donald Trump needs to condemn white nationalism following the event in Virginia. A white nationalist rally took place in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday. During the rally, a counter-protester was killed by a person who drove a car into a large group. Many politicians think President Trump came up short when the White House issued a statement about the event saying the president condemns "all forms of violence, bigotry and hatred." Many politicians on both sides of the aisle have called on President Trump to directly condemn white supremacy. Democrat Bob Casey joined the call for President Trump to condemn white supremacy saying it's time for the president to "show some backbone."
