Pine-Richland settles bathroom suit

Pittsburgh --  The Pine-Richland School District is going to allow students to use restrooms that correspond to their gender identity.  A settlement was announced yesterday in a federal lawsuit filed by three transgender students.  The students were protesting a district policy that forced them to use a bathroom based upon their biological sex only.  Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund called the settlement a "clear warning to school districts with anti-transgender bathroom policies."
