A long-lasting stomach bug is sweeping through the Midstate. Doctors in Dauphin, York and Lancaster counties have reported an abundance of cases over the last few weeks and say the virus is more intense and lasts longer than a typical 24-hour flu. Symptoms include nausea, aches, fatigue and gastrointestinal problems. The duration seems to be anywhere from a few days to up to two weeks.
