A man is in custody for allegedly trying to break into a home in Newberry Township. Cody Conley was arrested Sunday morning at a residence on Erney Road. The homeowner told police he heard noise and saw Conley on his porch, pulling on the door handle. The man got his gun and threatened to shoot Conley if he came in. Police say Conley was extremely intoxicated. A subsequent investigation found he also tried to break into the victim's vehicle.
