Dogs rescued from filthy home

Twenty-seven dogs are being evaluated after being rescued from a home in Palmyra. Complaints from neighbors led to the seizure of the Pomeranians from a South Harrison Street residence over the weekend. Officials say the house was filled with soda bottles of urine, the floors were covered in feces and all the dogs have fleas. The dogs are being treated, spayed and neutered and will then be available for adoption.
