Services are being planned for the Pennsylvania state trooper killed in a crash in Ligonier Township. Trooper Michael Stewart died in the accident early Friday after his police SUV collided with a garbage truck on Route 711. Visitation hours at John J. Lopatich Funeral Home on Weldon Street in Latrobe will be held from 2:00 to 8 p.m. today. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Holy Family Church on Ligonier Street. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery.
