First step toward a State System tuition hike

College tuition is likely going up in Pennsylvania soon.  The Board of Governors Finance Committee has voted to raise tuition for universities by three-and-a-half-percent, which means about 254-dollars-a-year.  They won't make changes immediately, but plan to use recommendations to create an action plan in the future.  A final vote will be made by the full board today.
