A former Strickland's T-shirt building will soon become the new headquarters of a museum preserving the history of Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association bought the property that will serve as its permanent headquarters on Route 116. The facility will house not only a museum, but a general purpose room for seminars and special presentations. Renovations are expected to begin in September.
