A church pastor is facing trial in Berks County on the charge that he failed to report suspected abuse before his granddaughter's death last year. The pastor, whose congregation rejects modern medicine, appeared for a preliminary hearing yesterday. The girl died of pneumonia last year after her parents allegedly failed to seek medical treatment for her.
