One person on a motorcycle was killed in a crashed in York County Sunday evening.
Two motorcycles were traveling on the intersection of Rossville and Old Rossville Road in Newberry Township when the accident happened.
One driver was thrown his bike and was hit by an incoming car, according to dispatch. The rider was pronounced dead on the scene.
The York County Coroner has identified the victim as 48-year-old John Fritz.
The mishap occured about 7:00 last evening.
Coroner Pam Gay says Fritz was wearing a helmet at the time.
His bike hit the rear of a minivan that came to a sudden stop. Fritz was thrown off of his motorcycle and into the opposing lane, where he landed on another vehicle.
