State Auditor General Eugene DePasquale says Penn State needs to do more, following the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal. DePasquale said yesterday that background checks on employees are falling through the cracks. He also wants the size of the board of trustees to be reduced to increase transparency. DePasquale is also asking for a task force to investigate skyrocketing tuition at the school, saying it is no longer affordable.
