PA animal activists push for car bill

Animal activists are pushing for a bill that would protect pets from being left in hot cars.  The group gathered at the State Capitol with lawmakers yesterday to urge the general assembly to pass the legislation. The proposal would allow law enforcement to remove an animal from a car if its health is in danger.  It would also punish people who leave pets in a car under any circumstance that might harm them.
