A teenager is facing charges for allegedly dragging a state trooper as he tried to escape a DUI checkpoint. Louis Acosta was arrested Saturday along the I-83 business loop in Spring Garden Township. The officer smelled marijuana and when she questioned Acosta about it, Acosta took off, dragging her to the ground. Acosta eventually crashed into a building on South George Street and was arrested following a brief foot chase. The trooper suffered injuries to the hand and knee.
