Fears TMI will shutdown in a couple of years

Three Mile Island nuclear power plant is looking at early retirement, putting 675 jobs at risk.  Parent company Exelon announced yesterday that the plant again failed to sell its electricity at a recent power auction.  The plant has also lost more than 300-million dollars over the last eight years.  Exelon said TMI is economically challenged due to low wholesale power prices and the lack of energy policies valuing zero-emissions nuclear energy.
