The Senate Plaza building in East Pennsboro Township is being imploded. The building will come down at 7:30 Saturday morning and parts of Erford and Poplar Church roads, and Senate and House avenues will be closed to traffic as a result. The building is being imploded to make room for a Sheetz store, a fast food restaurant, a hotel, and a five-story apartment building. The businesses are expected to open by the end of 2018.
