Pennsylvania's auditor general is reviewing spending at the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. The announcement was made yesterday after it was discovered that a million-dollar surplus was used for staff and volunteer bonuses. Governor Tom Wolf says the committee should have returned the money to taxpayers. Former Governor Ed Rendell, who was chairman of the host committee, claims the bonuses were given to supplement low pay and long hours.
