A Washington County woman is facing charges after allegedly lighting a stolen car on fire with a child inside. Police say Marketta Walker stole the vehicle from a relative Wednesday with her nephew in it and purposely crashed it in Georges Township. They say she then set it on fire and allowed it to fill up with smoke with the five-year-old special-needs child in the back seat. Witnesses say they were able to get the boy out before the vehicle went up in flames and he was not seriously injured. Police say Walker suffers from paranoia and schizophrenia.
