The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo is not coming to York this summer. The York Revolution baseball team has decided to cancel the event following protests from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The rodeo features capuchin monkeys riding sheepherding dogs. PETA claims that monkeys are vulnerable to neck injuries and are often hurt when the dogs accidentally run them into hard objects.
