The Pennsylvania man convicted of ambushing and killing a state trooper is being sentenced to death. Bells rang out at the Pike County Courthouse in Milford last night, signifying that the jury handed down the sentence against Eric Frein [[ freen]]. Frein was convicted of first degree murder and terrorism charges for attacking a Pennsylvania State Police barracks in September 2014, killing Corporal Bryon Dickson and injuring another trooper with a sniper rifle. Frein's crime led to a massive manhunt before he was captured in October 2014 at an abandoned airport.
