Pennsylvania cop-killer Eric Frein is not getting an emergency competency hearing. Frein's lawyers made the request yesterday but the judge denied it. Prison officials say Frein stopped communicating, wouldn't walk, wouldn't talk and has been staring off into space. The district attorney claims Frein is faking it and called the behavior a stalling tactic. Frein was convicted of capital murder last week in the 2014 attack that killed Corporal Bryon Dickson in Blooming Grove. The penalty phase of the trial is now underway and Frein is facing a potential death sentence. Frein's mother testified yesterday and begged for her son's life. Frein's lawyer also told the jury he comes from a "dark home."
