Amtrak is operating on a modified schedule in the Northeast again today. The company says passengers should allow extra time to get to the station and is warning people to be extremely careful with possible slippery conditions in stations, on platforms and in the doorways of trains. Passengers are also being strongly encouraged to use Amtrak.com or the mobile app to check their train status.
