Hundreds take advantage of Penn State retirement offer

Six-hundred faculty and staff members at Penn State University are taking voluntary retirement packages. Forty-six percent of eligible employees took advantage of the offer, which was more than the school expected.  More than 400 of those employees work on the main campus.  A spokeswoman for the school says the move will save money and lead to a "strategic realignment" and more diverse faculty.
