Police have filed charges against a student accused of threatening a classmate with violence on Snapchat, according to the Manheim School District.
CBS-21 reports officials are prohibited from releasing the details of the charges or the student's name by the Pennsylvania Juvenile Act, but did say the 'appropriate charges have been filed.
'The alleged threats came to light Monday after the victim's father, who is not being identified to keep the victim's identity private, released screenshots of the violent threats made against his daughter online.
Landis Run students and their parents gathered at Overlook Park in Manheim Township during school hours in hopes of encouraging the school to do more to protect its students.
