The son of former Penn State assistant football coach and convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky is now behind bars himself, facing similar charges.
Jeffrey Sandusky was arrested Monday afternoon in Centre County by state police and charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors and photographing, videotaping, depicting on computer or filming sexual acts.
PA State police officials say they were notified in November by the father of a teenage girl who said his daughter had received inappropriate text messages from Sandusky in March.
Police said Sandusky told the girl, named victim #1, not to show the text messages to anyone else, and further advised the girl to erase the alleged messages and that none of his “s---” gets mentioned to anyone or seen by anyone.
