Governor Wolf unveils $32.3 billion state budget plan

On Tuesday at the State Capitol, Governor Tom Wolf revealed his $32.3 billion budget plan for the coming fiscal year.  Facing Republican majorities in both the House and Senate, the plan does not include any broad-based tax increases.  Instead, the plan is filled with cost-saving measures aimed at streamlining state government and eliminating waste.  Other highlights include a 200 million dollar increase in education spending, money for senior programs, money for drug addiction programs, an increase of the state minimum wage to $12 an hour, and a $25-per-person tax for municipalities that rely solely on State Police coverage with no local police.  More from CBS-21's Michael Gorsegner:
