Feds critical of PA water inspection process

The national Environmental Protection Agency is claiming Pennsylvania's water supply is not inspected enough.  The agency issued a warning to the state's Department of Environmental Protection in December saying the water is only inspected half as much as the national average.  The letter cited a lack of inspectors.  Unaddressed violations in the state have nearly doubled in the last five years, causing a public health risk.
