The parents of a slain Millersville University student are suing the school. Eighteen-year-old Karlie Hall's boyfriend was found guilty of her murder after she was found dead in her dorm room in February 2015. John and Jeanette Hall have filed a wrongful-death suit in federal court against Millersville University, a resident assistant, the "Acacia" fraternity and five fraternity members. The suit claims the university didn't act even though it knew Karlie had been assaulted by her boyfriend. It also says the fraternity members witnessed an assault at a party. The suit does not seek a specific amount of money damages. The Halls' attorney says they want to see the university change its policy regarding domestic violence.
