REP. OMAR: Climate Change to Put 100M People in ‘Extreme Poverty,’ Kill 50% of All Life, ’12 Years’ Left

Rep. Ilhan Omar issued a dire prediction for the future of the planet Monday; suggesting “half of all plants and animals” will soon face extinction and humanity has just “12 years to avert a catastrophe.”

“Climate change is expected to force more than 100 million ppl into extreme poverty by 2030 Half of all plants and animals are at risk of extinction UN says have 12 years to avert catastrophe,” posted the congresswoman on social media. “You cannot discuss Earth Day without acknowledging the greatest threat to the earth.
