Hospitals have seen an uptick in motorcycle fatalities and serious, life-threatening injuries in the last several weeks across the midstate.
While we typically see this increase in volume, we want to bring awareness to the fact that people are being very seriously injured, and killed, on our roadways.
PennDOT has looked at this in detail – 50% of all motorcycle crashes are caused by the motorcycle operator and 50% are caused by the person driving a vehicle.
