Lebanon County Update 3.29

LEBANON, Pa. —According to a statement from the Lebanon VA Medical Center, two veterans tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, March 28.

The medical center says precautionary measures have been taken to mitigate the risk of transmission to other patients and staff.

One of the veterans has been discharged from the medical center and is currently in home isolation, while the other veteran is being cared for in respiratory isolation by qualified staff, according to the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

The VA is screening veterans and staff who show symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath, in line with CDC criteria.

The Lebanon VA Medical Center says patients known to be at risk for COVID-19 are immediately isolated to prevent spread, and say they are following CDC guidance and VA protocols.
