Another in our series with Community Aid-CEO's To Know. Meeting and learning about wonderful social service agencies in our region who help so many in need. Meagan Given is the Executive Director of the White Rose Leadership Institute in York. This incredible organization according to their mission statement:
To aid and support York County, PA charitable nonprofit organizations so they may expand their capacity and develop and improve of their leadership by providing training, tools, resources and technical assistance and at no charge or at a substantially reduced rate (based upon the organization’s ability to pay) so that such organizations can achieve a greater impact in the community and more effectively and efficiently deliver the goods or services envisioned by its specific charitable mission and purpose.

Their signature fundraising effort is GIVE LOCAL YORK, a one day of giving that helps hundreds of nonprofits in York County. In 2020 it will be May 1st. Meagan will tell us all about it and all the people they help.
