UPMC Pinnacle offers a wonderful class for new grandparents. It's been a long time since we cared for a baby...and boy....how times have changed.
In fact that is the title of the class. It focuses on the experience of new grandparents. New trends in medical practices like how to position a baby for sleep in the crib, new car seat regulations, and also how to support the new family and play a valuable role in the lives of that new grand baby.
Carole Brtalik, Registered Nurse and Childbirth Educator conducts the class and will share with us what is covered and since she is a grandmother of 7 herself, she will share how wonderful the experience is and how important grandparents are in the lives of the baby and the new family.
