Taking Care of Business 6/9 Hall's Homestyle Ice Cream

Halls Ice Cream

A true home town treat.  Hall's Home-style Ice Cream as you can see in the photo above, made in Millerstown, Perry County for over 70 years.

Our iHeart Radio sales expert, Blake Heiges introduced and brought me up to this delightful ice cream shop out in the country across the road from the farm to not only learn about this delicious ice cream but also to share a bowl and a banana split.

Peggy Raub, daughter in the Hall's family runs the business along her nephew Fred and keeps the tradition alive.   We'll talk about the history and the recipe and what makes this ice cream different and better.   We'll also talk about how they make doggy ice cream....treats for your pup.  You can find Hall's Ice Cream at your local Karns, at Paulus Farm Market in Mechanicsburg, at the Harrisburg Farm Show Farmers Market during the summer and on their website.   And...of course it is worth the trip to their ice cream shop in Millerstown.
