Coming up on June 21st.....the longest day of the year, the Alzheimer's Association of Greater PA is holding their LONGEST DAY fundraiser to raise awareness and money to aid in research to help find a cure for those devastating disease that affects so many and many who are our loved ones.
Asheleigh Forsburg from our local association tells us how unique and how much fun this fundraiser can be because you are creating your own way to raise money.
We will also learn more about this disease which is costing billions in health care and is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S. Asheleigh will also let us know about research and clinical trials that are available locally.
And even more importantly, this is a local organization that is available with information and resources to help you care for someone suffering from Alzheimer's.
