Wow! What a great place. What a wonderful local business serving up local products. In this case...wine. Cross Winds Winery on Route 39 between Giant and Agway is a must visit if you love relaxing with fine wine and good conversation. Owners Edward & Linda Jansen and one of their staff members Melissa hosted me and Nancy Ryan and told us about how this winery got started, what makes his vineyard and wines different and unique and all the things you can see and do at their wine tasting home in Hershey.
They have a pleasant porch to sit and enjoy the wines as you gaze over the farmland featuring horses. You can also host private parties there. They can arrange a number of themes for you and they often host wine pairing dinners. Alot of awesome gift ideas too. Everything there including the wine names have an "aviation" theme. Ed & Linda are both pilots.
