10.9.21 Discovering & Exploring The Lebanon Valley

“DISCOVERING & EXPLORING PENNSYLVANIA’S LEBANON VALLEY WITH “VISIT LEBANON VALLEY” PRESIDENT, JENNIFER KUZO”

Did you know the first millionaire in the history of Pennsylvania came from Lebanon Valley? Me either! It’s true – Robert Coleman, a very successful and respected industrialist was the first and is the namesake of popular Coleman Memorial Park.

Lebanon Valley is a great choice for fall road trips and getaways, especially hiking and biking on the Appalachian Trail and Swatara State Park – and exploring 6,000 acres of wildlife at Middle Creek – with the glorious fall foliage everywhere you look.

Jennifer Kuzo, the President of “Visit Lebanon Valley” , is my in-studio guest Saturday, October 9th, 11am-12pm on “Let’s Talk Travel” on iHeartRadio/WHP580.

Show highlights include – history & Heritage (Union Canal Tunnel is the oldest transportation tunnel left in the U.S.) ; Cornwall Iron Furnace ; Favorite wining & dining spots ; favorite foods (Lebanon bologna & Opera fudge) – and Jennifer will tell us about the infamous 1878 “Blue Eyed Six Murder” at the site of the Farmers Market - plus, the “Adventures of Lebanon Lilly” a children’s book written by…Jennifer Kuzo!
