Fire Weather Watch in Effect Through Tuesday Night
(Central PA) -- Forecasters says a fire weather watch remains in effect from this morning through 8 p.m. for most of central Pennsylvania. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions may happen due to a combination of strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels. Affected counties include Franklin, Northern Lycoming, Southern Lycoming, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, and Columbia. Nearer to Harrisburg, Perry, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York and Lancaster Counties are affected by the watch. We'll have mild temperatures and low humidity during the fire watch time period.
