>NWS Issues Fire Weather Watch Across PA Wednesday
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The National Weather Service in Pennsylvania has issued a fire weather watch in effect from mid-Wednesday morning to Wednesday evening. The watch means windy and dry conditions could contribute to the spread of fires in the area, especially for areas where prescribed burns could get out of control. Forecasters say today's gusty winds that could reach 30-miles-per-hour and low relative humidity would also cause wildfires to grow and spread.
