THURSDAY AND FRIDAY | WEATHER WATCH DAYS

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Expect clouds to win out early today and it's windy and very warm. Skies will start to clear on Wednesday afternoon as temperatures take a tumble back down through the 50s and 40s setting us up for some much colder weather for the second half of the week.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY | WEATHER WATCH DAYS:

Much colder air will be in place tomorrow when another area of low pressure advances in from the west bringing some light snow showers and sleet by Thursday afternoon.

The bulk of the precipitation will be arriving Thursday after sunset bringing a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain. This will continue overnight and in to the Friday morning commute.

Be ready for slick spots and some icy spots from about 8PM Thursday night until 10AM Friday morning. By midday on Friday temperatures should warm enough to change what is left of this system over to just plain rain before it exits by Noon.

COLD WEEKEND:

After the front goes through we will be looking at a much colder weekend with highs on Saturday in the upper 30s, low 40s on Sunday...The final weekend of February!
