(Lancaster, PA) -- From now until Christmas Eve, you can adopt a pet from Humane Pennsylvania at no cost. Leaders at the Lancaster and Reading shelters say the fees are being covered by ten local businesses. Available pets can be viewed and adopted at both shelters from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Promoters say potential adopters must still go through Humane PA's normal screening process before being approved for getting an animal.
