HARRISBURG, Pa. — After hitting 66 degrees for our high yesterday, some much colder air has returned and another area of low pressure is advancing in from the west bringing the chance of a few snow showers during the day.
The bulk of the precipitation will be arriving tonight after sunset bringing a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain. This will continue overnight and in to the Friday morning commute.
Be ready for slick and possibly icy spots from about 8PM Thursday night until 10AM Friday morning. We'll be warming into the 40's on Friday so temperatures should be warm enough to change what is left of this system over to just plain rain before it exits by late morning.
COLD WEEKEND:
After the front goes through we will be looking at a much colder weekend with highs on Saturday in the upper 30s, mid 40s on Sunday... The final weekend of February!
