Authorities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, are investigating an incident where two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on Monday (August 31). The collision occurred shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of South Duke and Dauphin streets.

The incident adds to a series of traffic-related accidents in the region, including a separate crash in Cumberland County involving a motorcyclist and a fire truck. The motorcyclist was injured after colliding with the fire engine, which was responding to an emergency call. The crash, which occurred at Market and Main streets in Mechanicsburg, is also under investigation by local authorities.
