>>Northeast Pennsylvania's Bear Season Impacted By Snow Storm

(Dallas, PA) -- Add this to the list of problems caused by the Poconos recent snow storm. The Pennsylvania Game Commission said last week's snows have kept hunters from their spots during this year's bear season. The Game Commission said some places in northeastern Pennsylvania saw as much as 20 inches of snow. That's too much snow for hunters to walk in. Overall, however, bear harvest numbers are not that far off from normal. The Game Commission says 60 bears have been harvested so far during this season. Pennsylvania's bear season, by the way, ends tomorrow.
