(Tel Aviv) -- Israel's intelligence agency helped stop hackers from hitting U.S. power plants. The deputy chief of IDF Unit 82-hundred said on Wednesday that the agency warned the U.S. about plans to hack power plants in time to block the cyberattack. The officer identified only as Colonel U said his agency discovered the plot while stopping a cyberattack on Israeli facilities. He said the planned attack on power plants in the U.S. was prevented through what he called "tight collaboration with our fantastic American partners."
