(Washington, DC) -- The rapid rise in home prices is slowing just a little. The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller index for April shows a 20-point-four percent annual jump in home prices. That's a slight drop from March and a sign prices may be cooling. Tampa, Miami and Phoenix continued to post the biggest gains. Tampa prices were up nearly 36-percent from a year ago. All 20 cities in the Case-Shiller index notched double-digit increases despite mortgage rates topping five-percent in April.
