>>Lawmaker Wants Penn State To Disclose Location, Condition Of Paterno Statue

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A Republican state lawmaker wants to withhold state funding for Penn State until the school reports the location and condition of a statue of Joe Paterno. The statue was removed from outside Beaver Stadium in 2012 over allegations of a coverup of child sexual abuse by former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. State Representative Aaron Bernstine is proposing amending Senate Bill 12-83 to require PSU to publicly disclose information about the statue. Penn State is expected to get 242-million dollars in state funding.
