>>Superintendent Says "Power Grab" Has Forced Him to Resign

(Cumberland Valley, PA) -- The Cumberland Valley School District's Superintendent is resigning amid allegations that other members of the school board have tried to supersede his authority. Brian Drapp, who has spent the last year as President of CV School District, says as of Monday, he's resigned his position. He tells WHP-TV it was a "power grab" from other board members that left him no choice but to resign. He said he recently learned that he doesn't have the support of most of the school directors, and even though he feels that's due in part to others trying to seize the leadership, he still resigned because he wants to "respect their collective decision."
